Anna Carbon, Barrister
Family Law Specialist
After two years in a boutique family law practice in Rotorua, Anna returned to Auckland, where she spent more than 12 years at a leading, award-winning firm. During this time, she built a strong reputation for her expertise in family law and her ability to deliver straightforward, effective solutions in complex cases.
Anna regularly collaborates with other professionals, including forensic accountants and psychologists, to resolve matters that require a multidisciplinary approach. She has significant experience working under the Protection of Personal Property Rights Act and is approved by the Court as Lawyer for Subject Person.
Her work has been recognised in the legal community, with Doyles Guide naming her a Future Leader in Family Law and Relationship Property in both 2024 and 2025.
Anna is also a trained collaborative law practitioner, offering constructive, solution-focused alternatives to traditional litigation. She is a member of the New Zealand Law Society, Family Law Section, and New Zealand Bar Association.
